Transport in and around Sampford Peverell
Buses
The route 1/1A/1B bus goes through Sampford Peverell, stopping at Richmond Close, outside the Globe, and Lower Town near the top of station road. It goes to Halberton and Tiverton in one direction, and to Tiverton Parkway station, Uffculme, Willand, Cullompton and Exeter in the other. The Stagecoach timetable is here:

Roads
Sampford Peverell is near Junction 27 of the M5, which provides rapid access to the cities of Exeter to the South and Taunton to the North - both are about 20 minutes' drive away.
Tiverton is about 12 minutes' drive away via either the A361 (North Devon Link Road), or via the village of Halberton. The Halberton route is shorter but it has a number of traffic-calming pinch points which slow the journey down.
Trains
Tiverton Parkway station is situated on the edge of Sampford Peverell, about 15 minutes' walk from the centre of the village.
From here you can get direct trains to Exeter and the South-West, London Paddington, and north to Taunton and cities in the Midlands, the North, and Scotland.
